I really enjoy working with students! For the past couple of years I have been involved in mentoring activities such as MIT PRIMES, a year-long program oriented to introduce high school students to research in STEM disciplines, and the UF Math Circle, a program aims at middle and high school students having fun while learning interesting mathematics outside a typical school curriculum.
I have had the pleasure of working with the following students: Sofía Albizu-Campos, Juliet Bringas, Hannah Fox, Agastya Goel, Victor Michel Gonzalez, Sophia Liao, Caroline Liu, Annabel Ma, Pedro Rodriguez, and Andrew Zhang.
Here are the papers that have been completed or are currently in progress under my guidance:
On the atomic structure of exponential Puiseux monoids and semirings by Sofía Albizu-Campos, Juliet Bringas, and Harold Polo.
Communication in Algebra 49 (2021) 850-863.
On the factorization invariants of arithmetical congruence monoids by Scott T. Chapman, Annabel Ma, Caroline Liu, and Andrew Zhang.
Arithmetic of semisubtractive semidomains by Hannah Fox, Agastya Goel, and Sophia Liao. This paper will appear in Journal of Algebra and Its Applications.
Localizations of semidomains by Victor Michel Gonzalez, Pedro Rodriguez, and Miguel Secillano (in progress).
